An organization of physicians and other medical professionals dedicated to excellence in and advancement of palliative medicine through prevention and relief of patient and family suffering by providing education and clinical practice standards, fostering research, facilitating personal and professional development, and by public policy advocacy.

Americans for Better Care of the Dying (ABCD)
Aims to improve end-of-life care by learning which social and political changes will lead to enduring, efficient, and effective programs. We work with the public, clinicians, policymakers, and other end-of-life organizations to make change happen.

American Hospice Foundation
Mission is to improve access to quality hospice care through public education, professional training, and consumer advocacy.

Caring Connections 
A program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), is a national consumer engagement initiative to improve care at the end of life, supported by a grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
