Support Group for Young Adult Cancer Survivors

This group gives young adults affected by cancer the opportunity to share their experiences in a supportive environment. Social Workers from Compass Oncology will be present to facilitate conversation and address questions about emotional issues and coping strategies. 
• Get support designed to meet the unique needs of young adults with cancer.
• Connect with other young adults who are currently in treatment and post treatment.
• Get updates on activities, resources, and services designed just for young adults.

Journal to the Self Workshop

Women’s Cancer Support Group

Compass Oncology and Pink Lemonade Project have partnered to offer a support group to give women cancer survivors an opportunity to talk with others who are facing similar challenges in a safe, welcoming environment.

Oncology social workers will be present to facilitate the conversation and to answer any questions. 

This support group is for all women cancer survivors. You can choose to attend any session or all of the sessions.

  • February 10 - "Everything you ever wanted to know about: lymphedema, pelvic floor function, exercise after cancer and weight loss...but you Have to Ask!" - Joyce Masters, PT, CLT

  • April 13 - Treating Fear of Recurrence - Tracy Webb, PA-C

ZEST: A Young Women’s Cancer Support Gathering

ZEST is our newest addition to our support group programming. ZEST is not your typical support group. This is a casual monthly gathering hosted by our trained volunteer mentors. ZEST is a way to make connections with other young women cancer survivors in a social setting with no pressure of sharing your story (unless you choose to). This group meets monthly at Latte Da, a local coffee shop and wine bar.

Compass Survivorship Group Visit - The Power of the Mind
