Support Group for Young Adult Cancer Survivors

This group gives young adults affected by cancer the opportunity to share their experiences in a supportive environment. Social Workers from Compass Oncology will be present to facilitate conversation and address questions about emotional issues and coping strategies. 
• Get support designed to meet the unique needs of young adults with cancer.
• Connect with other young adults who are currently in treatment and post treatment.
• Get updates on activities, resources, and services designed just for young adults.

Survivorship Group Visit: Fatigue & Insomnia

Compass Oncology recognizes the complex needs after cancer treatment and the importance of surveillance, prevention and education so you are the strongest advocate for your integrated care. Compass Survivorship Group Visits are 90-minute sessions addressing different topics each month. Each visit includes a 45-minute presentation, group discussion and Q&A time.

Women’s Cancer Support Group

Compass Oncology and Pink Lemonade Project have partnered to offer a support group to give women cancer survivors an opportunity to talk with others who are facing similar challenges in a safe, welcoming environment.

Oncology social workers will be present to facilitate the conversation and to answer any questions. 

This support group is for all women cancer survivors. You can choose to attend any session or all of the sessions.

  • September 11: Benefits of Physical Therapy – Joyce Masters
  • October 9: Managing Life as a Whole
  • November 13: Managing Holiday Stress
  • December 11: Preventing Recurrence and Overcoming Obstacles in Order to Do So – Tracy Webb
