Biography

Alison Ryan is a Physician Assistant with a focus in medical oncology and hematology, as well as nutrition. Her path to cancer care began as a registered dietitian specializing in oncology nutrition for more than 10 years. She was increasingly drawn to whole patient care, so she went back to school to become an oncology PA. She is grateful for all that she has learned connecting with her patients over the years. She approaches her practice in a patient-centered way, after all, “This is your visit!” She strives to balance caring for your medical needs, while considering the complex and interesting life that you live outside of our office. 

When not working, you can find Alison walking the streets, riding her bike, exploring mountains, spending quality time with friends, and fueling her activities in the local food scene. She lives in Portland with her husband, their son, her energetic dog, and shy cat.
